Panteézis
Panteézis is an ambient album I composed for Ithaka, an exhibition by the Budapest-based painter Gabriella Kovács. The music was designed to deepen the audience’s interaction with the paintings, turning the gallery into an immersive audiovisual experience.

Making the Album
The goal was to create music that could exist in dialogue with the paintings. I approached the album as a soundtrack to the exhibition — reflecting the atmosphere, textures, and emotional tone of the visual work while maintaining its own identity as a listening experience.

Preproduction
This project was my first exploration into ambient composition. I drew inspiration from Ólafur Arnalds, Hermanos Gutiérrez, Thievery Corporation, and Nils Frahm, studying how texture, repetition, and space can shape emotional perception.
Instruments & Production
Acoustic guitar and bass became central to the sonic palette, echoing the tactile qualities of the paintings themselves.
Early sketches and demos were built using the looping functions of the Boss DD-20 Giga Delay alongside my pedalboard. Through layered delays, reverbs, and looping techniques, I built an atmospheric sound balancing organic instrumentation with modern production aesthetics. Ableton Live served as the primary production environment throughout.
Outcome - Performance: Agave
In 2026, Gabriella Kovács invited me to return and perform live for her exhibition Agave. I adapted the Panteézis material into a live set built around real-time looping and layered improvisation, combining hardware looping devices with Ableton Live. I performed on multiple occasions, including the exhibition’s finissage.
